Farm Bureau endorses in 3 of 4 Arlington delegate races

The Virginia Farm Bureau Federation’s political-action committee has endorsed three members of the Arlington legislative delegation for re-election.

Dels. Mark Levine (D-45th), Patrick Hope (D-47th) and Rip Sullivan (D-48th) were among candidates in 94 of the 100 House of Delegates races endorsed by the organization.

“The mission of Virginia Farm Bureau Federation AgPAC is to support candidates who understand the value the agriculture industry brings to the commonwealth and the issues that surround it, whether through their platforms or their voting records in the General Assembly,” said Wayne Pryor, chairman of the PAC’s board of trustees. “We look forward to working with them to help support Virginia’s No. 1 industry.”

The organization to date has not issued an endorsement in the 49th District, which features incumbent Democratic Del. Alfonso Lopez being challenged by Republican Adam Roosevelt.
